Raymond Buckley, the State Chair for the New Hampshire Democratic Party, writes about his support for Paul Hodes for US Senate.

Dear Friends,

Paul Hodes will not be just an ally in the US Senate, Paul Hodes will be a champion for full LGBT equality.

No one will be stronger or fight harder to repeal DADT and DOMA, pass an inclusive ENDA and create a path for national marriage equality.

I have known Paul Hodes for decades. I have seen his passion for equality firsthand. Whether I was in the state legislature or now as state party chair, I have always known that I, and all of the NH LGBT community, could count on Paul to be a powerful advocate for LGBT equality.

Paul is a fighter and reformer. As an Assistant Attorney General under David Souter, Paul Hodes went after the bad guys and won. As a lawyer, Paul fought to protect those who had been harmed or hurt and won. As a two term member of Congress, Paul has stood up for progressive values and won. In the US Senate he will lead our efforts and win.

Congressman Hodes' campaign for the US Senate is surging. Within the past few weeks he has come within the margin of error and more than doubled his likely opponent's voter disapproval rating. NH is a small and affordable state. Nowhere in the country will your support make a bigger difference.

Now that we have achieved full equality in New Hampshire, let's elect a Granite Stater who will work to bring full equality to every LGBT American.

We need Paul Hodes in the US Senate. Paul Hodes needs us to get to the US Senate.
