A private email listserv for qualified Registered Members who give to achieve legal equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Americans.
WHO IS QUALIFIED TO JOIN
-
Major and mega donors and
their philanthropy advisors,
- Individuals who can contribute exceptionally to donor strategy,
- Executive Directors of pro-equality organizations, and
- Pro-equality
politicians and their chiefs of staff.
HOW TO JOIN
Register and check the box indicating that you want to join the Discussion Network. If you are already registered, just register again to update your information including your request to join.
HOW IT WORKS
Members send emails to the Network either by replying to any of the emails they received or by sending a new email to Members@Network.eQualityGiving.org.
PRIVACY
This listserv is a medium for donors to discuss their issues. All emails are marked as private and confidential and not for distribution. Emails sent to the Discussion Network
do not include the senders' email address to protect their privacy
(note that this information is available to moderators and may be visible to others). The member list is
not given out.
You can sign your email or use a consistent alias, but remember that many readers do not weigh anonymous postings as much as signed ones. Total privacy of your identity cannot be guaranteed in the electronic world.
DISCUSSION GUIDELINES
Please review these guidelines before posting in the Discussion Network.
EMAIL VOLUME
The Discussion Network is designed to remain quiet most of the time as
it not intended to be a news service. However, it is always at the
ready for an important discussion. When this occurs, it is not unusual
to receive 20-30 emails a day for two or three days. We have developed some tips on how to handle the volume.
